West Texas Together is a growing, cross-regional coalition of organizations, agencies, and community leaders working to transform child and family wellbeing through the Rural CBC Pilot established by SB 513. Our strength lies not just in our institutions—but in our people.
We are proud to include a wide swath of community-based partners, including churches, schools, nonprofits, courts, healthcare providers, and social service organizations. Equally vital are the individuals with lived experience in the child welfare system—kinship caregivers, former foster youth, biological parents, and frontline practitioners—whose voices are guiding every step of this collaborative effort.
Together, we are building a model of care that reflects rural values, honors family dignity, and keeps decision-making local.
